But Rules Are Made To Be Broken

Cmon. Rules are made to be broken

It is one thing to land yourself in a bit of bother when you can't follow the rules clearly set out before you but quite another when you're trying to take someone, or something, else down with you. Just look at that cheeky little face trying to convince the innocent Panda that a hug is a good idea. I know that Kooky kitty cuddles are priceless and everyone (okay slight exaggeration there) wants one, but hiding bamboo to entice the Panda closer is bad form. What a naughty little thing I am she is!

Since I picked up the box of free avatars from AnthroXtacy last week I'd been toying with the idea of getting one of the cat avatars. It is something that I'd been considering doing for some time but I'd never really been so excited by any of the ones available that I had to have it.

That said, with the changes to AnthroXtacy and the reduction in price I though it was as good a time as any to pick one up and see what I thought of it. To this point I've enjoyed wandering the grid in my BG Feline avatar or the DSD Ocelot. Now I can add my AnthroXtacy kitty to that list! Yay!

Kitty Faces

I've had a great deal of fun playing with the HUD. There are so many things you can change and features you can have off or on it's unreal.

Eyes -
Endless colour options - All or inner and outer iris separately
Pupil size
Eyes open to various degrees or fully closed.

Open or closed with a variety of options between
Tongue in our out
"Normal" "Hiss" or "Smile" modes
Articulated jaw when talking  on or off

Scotch Fold or Fluffy ears with  three different positions.
Twitch on or off.
Tail - sculpted, fluffy or sleek versions.
Still, constant and steady wag options.

And probably a couple of other things I've forgotten to mention here.

Whew! You get A LOT here for your L$300

Finding hair that fits the head shape is a bit of a task to say the least. I found that a hat with hair tended looked better in the end. Thanks to a Fifty Linden Friday offering I learned about "Darcy" from LaViere and managed to snap up an almost perfect colour match version in a Black Friday sale. Other than that all I'm wearing is a pair of Apricot Paws jeans and a top from Insanya.

I think I've kept you here for more than long enough now so I'm going to stop here.

Until next time,
A very happy KookyCat!

Al Vulo Gypsy

NiNi Gypsy Hunter & Al Vulo GG

There are just a couple of days to go before the Mini Gypsy Hunt ends so if you'd like to pick up this pretty pink number from NiNight Creations you'd better get the wagon wheels in motion and get yourself over there quickly. The item you need to find is a red button.

Hint : "Giraffe found a button which brings her good luck"

NiNight & Al Vulo - Free!
Also shown here is the latest group gift from Al Vulo. Her name is Eleonor Son of Flowers. As well as the skin this time around there is an applier for Lolas Tango included.

This is such a gorgeous light toned skin smothered in a generous amount of freckles. I think it's just adorable.

Looking slighty different today aren't I? Still as cute as ever though.

Say Cheese!

Elliecat In A Hat

I've been inspired to update my profile picture for the first time in a while. This inspiration came about when my good friend Ellie asked me if I would make a profile picture for her. I was honoured that she'd even ask because I'm not the best at these kinda things by a long shot though I do have fun trying.

We found a really interesting graffiti covered wall which is very much in keeping with both of our styles. Ellie struck a pose in front of it and I began snapping away. We tried out a couple of different poses and I sifted through goodness knows how many windlight settings to see which of them would help me create something that I hoped Ellie would like.

Kooky Picks Pic

I loved the wall Ellie posed in front of so much that I thought I'd use the same spot to make one for myself while trying to make them different at the same time, which I think I managed to achieve. I'm really happy with how all the pictures turned out, though I think I like the top picture of Ellie slightly more than the other one for some reason.

So this isn't just a post filled with rambles I'll let you know that you can find out what I am wearing in my previous post and though I'm not sure where Ellie's skirt is from I know for sure that her top is the Nylon Vest and shirts from +grasp+. How do I know this you ask...well because Ellie borrowed pinched it out of my wardrobe, the little minx!

Tomcat Kooky

Kal Rau Kook framed

After a few days away from blogging I thought I'd leap right back in and show you the outfit I've been wearing almost constantly since purchasing Kal Rau's Casual Blazer. Now, I know this mesh jacket and hoodie with colour change option has been made for boys but I really really liked it from the moment I saw it.

I couldn't resist trying out a demo and found myself both surprised and very happy to see a 'tiny' size included. Having tried it on and decided that I could get away with wearing it I took the plunge and brought it. This item of clothing oozes style and quality. It has to be my favourite purchase for quite a while.

I'm excited about it. Can you tell?

I paired it up with a my slightly grubby, low rise Bossy swag jeans from Razorblade Jacket and voila! One very happy, very comfortable Kooky Tomcat.

On my feet which you obviously can't see I'm wearing a pair of very versatile chucks from NV that I brought some time ago now. They finish the look off a treat.

Lions and Tigers and More ... Oh My!

On Monday the wonderful people over at Cover My Furry Butt! shared some news on their blog that I had to take advantage of. Because of real life commitments the way the furry shop AnthroXtacy is being run for now is changing dramatically. Almost all of the avatars sold by this store (including the fatpacks) have been set at greatly reduced prices.

AX Phoenix
(FREE AX Phoenix)

The real meat of this post is going to concentrate on a box filled with oodles of free furry avatars. I am not sure if you're able to pick it up at the in-world store, but you can grab it from the AX group notices. I'm also not sure how long it will be before the notice expires so if you want to take advantage of this offer I'd grab it sooner rather than later.

AX Lioness
(FREE AX Lioness)

Inside the box you get bats, birds, deers, foxes, hyenas, rodents, sharks, tigers, lions, wolves and a box of even older avatars which I didn't look inside yet. Each box is a fatpack with, I'd guess, somewhere between 10 and 15 different colours to pick from.

AX Tiger
(FREE AX Tiger)

All of the avatars I looked at came with both male and female versions. Some are packed separately, others you have to go through after 'wearing' the folder and click the skin, shape and hair* specific to the gender you require. It seemed to wear the male avatar by default when I was trying them on.

AX Hyena
(FREE AX Hyena)

Also included with the avatars are HUDs that let you customise  various parts. Depending on which one you're wearing you can change the eye colour, have the mouth open or closed, tongue out or in, wings closed or open, wagging or static tails, twitching ears or not and other features I've probably forgotten too. I am truly amazed by what you get for free in this box.

Have fun! I know I am going to!

Until next time,

*The hair I'm wearing is not the hair that comes with the avatars.

Edit : The box of free avatars is available at the main store.

Enchanted Frost Hunt Prizes & Hints

(Image borrowed from the MadPea Blog)

Over the weekend I spent some time doing the MadPea Enchanted Frost Hunt and like with the last one it was an absolute blast. I really enjoy the whole idea of following a story with hidden clues in each 'chapter' given to you by the HUD* as you travel from one place to the next. I find it so much more engaging than the usual way hunts are handled

This time around the hunt object is a small, red, glowing memory orb and I'd advise double strength specs and a magnifying glass to help you hunt it out. It can be extremely tricky to see, but they are all there, honest!

For the ones I found tricky to spot I am going to share extra clues with you. If you need any further help there are always MadPeas available in group chat you can ask.

Nordmoar Sim - Allergy to pine? Perhaps you should look elsewhere and consider getting to the ROOT of the problem.

Thentis Sim - Look to the Gods and you'll find the orb.

Sunfield Sim - Burton has a habit of thinking OUTSIDE the box. Maybe you should too.

Now to a few of the prizes!

Here I'm showing the gorgeous "Sweet Memory garden set and sky platform" from Forest feast. It provides a splendid backdrop for the "Frozen Mistletoe Arch" from Trident and "Enid's white crystalline harp" from Roawenwood as well.

There are plenty of other fabulous prizes too. Some of which are shown on the MadPea blog (link above)

Until next time,

*The HUD required to play through the hunt costs L$10 to buy.

New Exhibit @ Nitroglobus Gallery

Earlier this week the newest installation to feature at the Nitroglobus Gallery was officially opened with another fabulous party.

This time round the works of JadeYu Fang grace the walls of the main gallery while Nitro and Dido - the gallery owners/managers - share some of their own fabulous artworks in the wings.

JadeYu Fang's installation "Dark Journey" tells a story about her inner struggle as an artist in both the real and virtual worlds. For Jade there is no black and white to separate one world from the other but many shades of grey linking them together. We can see this through Jade's art with its dream-like hazes and her abstract style.

Opening Party - JadeYu Fang

The party was a huge hit with music from the talented DJ Lex. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time taking in the art, dancing, talking and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.

There were bubbles absolutely everywhere, which made an easily amused girl like myself very happy indeed. Some people decided to use them as seats, bouncing on them to the beat of the music. Not only do you get to see wonderful things at this gallery, you can improve your fitness levels bubble bouncing at the same time!

The installation will be on show all the way into December. I hope this little post of mine will encourage people to go and take a peek.

The Enchanted Frost Hunt

Today I've got some fantastic news to share with you. The Legend of the Month hunt from MadPea is now up and running. You'll need to purchase the HUD for L$10 which you can collect here, then it's a case of following the onscreen messages that will take you through the story and give clues as to where you can find each lost memory.

Enchanted Frost - MadPea Hunt
Granted, I didn't get far at all yet, but I just get so excited about these MadPea hunts that I couldn't wait until I'd completed it to share the news with you. Instead I decided that I'd show you just a couple of pictures from locations I visited so far. The first image with the unicorn was taken at the same place you need to visit for your HUD. The other was taken at The Looking Glass which is one of the locations you'll need visit in order to find the glowing memory orb that has been hidden.

Looking Glass
These hunts are always so well organised and there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs. If you get stuck along the way there are always people willing to lend a hand in the MadPea group and extra clues will be added to the MadPea Facebook page on a daily basis.

The hunt runs from the 16th November to the 22nd December so there is plenty of time to get yourself all wrapped up warm ready to navigate your way through the story. After you've found all fifteeen memories you will be greatly rewarded with a large stash of gifts.

Happy hunting.

Thank Blueberry It's Friday

I'm not sure if I look relaxed and chilled out or completely bored in the picture above. One thing I do know is that I'm looking very comfortable and casual in my new purple "Anya" hoodie and black "Nena" jeans from Blueberry. It's a store I recently stumbled across and have since purchased several items from all of which have been created using mesh.

Couldn't very well sit on a roundabout and not go for a spin now could I? I really should have gone a little slower or waited until my lunch had gone down a bit though. I'm feeling a little green around the edges. Eek! Please! Make it stop!

Today Kooky is donning the kind of thing I wear in my first life right down to the odd coloured boots. I absolutely love my Docs. They're so comfortable and versatile in that they can be dressed up or down depending on the rest of your outfit.

These Docs come from Gos and are available in a generous selection of colours. If you're having a job picking out which pair you want don't worry too much because there are boot polishes available for L$200 each. These polishes let you change the colour of the boots, laces, eyelets and stitching to whatever takes your fancy. If you're still debating over which colour to choose you could always make like me and wear two different ones at the same time.

Here's hoping you all have a fantastic weekend.

Until next time,

Oh Crumbs! Please Don't Eat Me

Having churned out a fair few posts over the last few days I was going to take a break from snapping pictures and writing some text to go with them for my blog today. However, that went completely out the window after I stumbled over a fun item that made me squee with joy.

As happens with most things of this nature I knew right away it was something I HAD to have and share with you, dear readers.

Gingerbread avatar flower+ candy bag accessories
(Flower & Candy bag accessories in green tea. Each sold separately.)

So here it is. The quirky, giggletastic, customisable mesh Gingerman Avatar and AO from  *G-D* (Guaran-Dou) !

I got the "Surprise" version in the pumpkin shade and I LOVE it!

The wonderful thing about this avatar is that there are countless numbers of possible combinations and options so I doubt two people will ever be wearing the same thing at the same time unless they planned it that way. You can be (just about) completely unique and stand out from the crowd which makes me a very happy girl.

Gingerbread Avatar wings accessory
(Butterfly wings - plain)

The Gingerman avatar is available in four different variations - including one shaped like a bear - and a selection of colours - including a burnt version. It's all very much luck of the draw as to which you get because all the delicious cookies are hidden away inside a gatcha machine.

Gingerbread Avatar xmas accessories
(Santa Hat & Christmas Tree accessories - each sold separately)

Either side of the avatar gatcha there are two more gatcha machines filled with accessories for your scrumptious self. There are hats and halos, candy canes and lollipops, butterfly wings, Christmas trees and a whole bunch of other stuff too.

The Avatar machine costs L$60 per play and both accessory filled machines cost L$10 a spin.

Have fun!

Two Little Bears

Once upon a time there were two little bears. A kooky-bear and her mesh Friendship Bear from Damien Fate.

Two Little Bears

No. Don't worry I'm not going to bore you with a story. Instead I'm going to share a few cute n cuddly  things with you that don't cost a great many lindens at all. I like to mix things up now and again which is exactly what I've done today as you can plainly see with how different Kooky looks!

The cute mesh bear hoodie I'm wearing is a free item available in the lucky chair at Ribbon. There is another rather more colourful version of this adorable jumper available as a hunt gift too. All you need to do is find the pink "Pimp my hunters" object in store and it's all yours.

Another lucky chair item I'm wearing is the black "loose jeans G" from Pumpkin. I was there checking out the new and seemingly very popular plaid open shirts they've recently released when my letter popped up on the board.

My hair and tongue are both gatcha items from Hinako and Alter Ego respectively. The "Darci" hair is L$30 per try and the "RawkOut" tongue costs just L$10 per go with 9 different designs to collect.

Last but definitely not least is the cute, cuddly bear which is an updated version of the friendship bear Damien made years ago. It says on his website that he originally created it to hand out to friends and as a thank you gift for people that had helped him during those daunting first days and weeks around the grid. Over time the little bear traveled vast distances being passed on from one person to the next and now we'll wait to see if this new version does the same thing.

Until next time,

Memories, Dreams, Reflections.

A new art exhibit has just recently opened at UnitArt - MagnetiZe with featured artists Gitu Aura and Talullah Winterwolf. Please believe me when I say it is well worth a visit. A lot of the art on display has been created to capture a moment, dream or emotion on canvas leading each piece to have a great deal of personal meaning to its creator.

Talullah @ Magnetize
(Talullah Winterwolf)

In a notecard available at the exhibit Talullah tells us:

"In this collection, the majority of works explore dreams, childhood memories and feelings, but each one contains an emotion  I was feeling strongly at the time.

I have tried to capture that feeling in the images., and in doing so have realised that the very effect of layering the images and textures  is suggestive of  the way our memories are layered on top of each other and each whole is the sum of many parts."

Gitu - Reflections
(Gitu Aura)

On her "Reflection of Thoughts" works Gitu says:

"  .... i was siting near window...watching outside....the rain drops were falling down calm...and gentle....
my mind was far away...i saw your face on the glass...your sad eyes...your deep eyes...they were calling me:
  "come with me..."
....i have closed my eyes...but i still saw the same vision - you..."

Opening party

I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening party of this wonderful exhibit by none other than Gitu herself. I've admired her artistic style for some time now and enjoy talking with her about an vast array of things including her beautiful works of art.

I do hope that this post will inspire a few people to go over and take a look at the wonderful works by these two ladies as and when time allows.

Falling Into Autumn With NiNight Creations

Autumn leaves

NiNight Creations is participating in the Falling into the seasons hunt which runs until the 23rd of November. If you can find the leaf hidden inside the store you can get yourself this lovely, comfortable looking mesh Autumn Leaves sweater dress.

To help you on your way the hint at NiNight Creations is "Look around and find the table."

There are 25 stores participating in this hunt so it shouldn't take too long for you to gather up all the free goodies available in glorious autumnal shades.

On a completely different note I'd like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone that has visited my blog up to this point. It might not seem a lot to many, but hitting the 10,000 pageviews mark while on my little blogging adventure is absolutely wonderful! Here's to the next 10,000!

Until next time,

Flickr Pic Of The Week. Me? Get Outta Here!

I'm shocked, stunned, elated, delighted, bouncy, excited and pretty dumbfounded that this week one of the pictures I took while visiting the MadPea Carneval has been named their FlickR picture of the week. Wow. Just wow!

Madpea Carneval Coaster Overhead

Of course a great deal of the credit has to go to people like Penelope Parx of the MadPeas and others such as Claudia222 Jewell that have the skill and talent to create the things I took the pictures of. In my opinion it's far easier to take a beautiful image of something that is already stunning than it is to actually go about creating that beauty in the first place.

Anyway I just wanted to share this little bit of news with everyone and thought I'd frame the group notice as a memento of an occasion that I very much doubt will be happening again any time soon.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Until next time,

NiNight Acid Lily

Casual Kook

Today I'm going to show you a couple of new additions to my wardrobe. I went to check out the new Acid Lily collection and returned home with two new pairs of mesh jeans. I've never really been a fan of skinny fit jeans before now but these ones from MoYaz are just so nicely made that I couldn't resist picking them up. To save a long drawn out period of decision making over what colour to pick I grabbed both the blue and faded black/grey ones.

On my top half is the latest group gift from NiNight Creations. It's actually the male gift but right up my alley. The fit is fabulous and it's splendidly made with little wrinkles in all the right places.

On the rest of me are a couple of items I've had for a while. The mesh classic chucks in black on my feet are from Deco and the beautifully detailed legacy wrist cuffs come from Blitzed.

Have a great weekend!

Tira & Nin

Tira & Nin 1 bdr

Today my very good friend Tira tied the knot with her girlfriend Nin and though I wasn't there for the actual ceremony - which I was a little bummed about - I did at least get to wish the happy couple well for the future while sipping champagne, chatting with other guests and shaking my tail feathers.

Tira & Nin 3

The setting was beautiful, the choice of music fitting for the occasion and although there were (apparently) a few moments that made the ceremony 'unique' everything was perfect. I don't think you can have an occasion like this without a few of those moments. It's the unexpected things that make the day memorable and set it apart from others that take place.

Tira & Nin 4

I couldn't very well wear my usual tattered/grungy styled attire to such an occasion and thought something else, perhaps even something a little more feminine, would be more fitting. I had brought the capri pants from coldLogic and the corset from *S* a while ago and shoved them to the back of my wardrobe until now. I know it was probably silly of me, but I couldn't help myself. I decided to add a little Kooky twist to the outfit with my moustasche glasses.. It is Mo-vember after all.

Just before I go I want to say an absolutely massive congratulations and all the best for the future to Tira and Nin. May you have many happy years together!

Until next time,

There are a few more pictures on my FlickR for anyone that is interested.

Agent KJ - Man in Black

MiB - Agent KJ

Today I've broken Kooky boy back out of the box and we've got a bit of a "Men in Black" Thing going on. I know it's probably just me but the idea of it made me giggle away to myself particularly as I remembered the names of the agents in the movie are "J" and "K" - matching my initials. So today I dub myself Agent KJ!

Man In Black

I've quite impressed myself this time around. Agent KJ isn't a bad looking chap even if I do say so myself. It's taken a whole mish mash of things old and new to create him. At the bottom of it all is the *Ultra shape* I found on the MHOH7 hunt some time ago now. On top of that, after much deliberation, I decided that this months male group gift skin "Vincent" from Filthy was the best fit for my chosen shape.

So that KJ wasn't completely bald I purchased the "Shorty" head tattoo from 99Hair which I really like. The suit is a free item found at AsHmOot for the "Shaken but not Stirred" hunt. The free 2nd Anniversary group gift hat from Ronsem really adds another dimension to the look and helps to further hide the mysterious eyes that are already hidden behind a pair of Gudshu sunglasses. Finally right at the bottom are some shoes I purchased ages ago and have never worn until now. They are the Ashford Brogues from *Fir & Mina*.

That's about it for now, I think.

A Penny For The Guy [Fawkes Avatar]

Remember, remember,
The fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason,
Why the gunpowder treason,
Should ever be forgot!

Guy Fawkes

I was having a bit of a dilly dally wondering what to do with myself yesterday and then I had the grand idea of seeing if I could turn Kooky into Guy Fawkes as "Bonfire night" was just around the corner. Today is of course that day and I wanted to get the post up so I didn't have much time to achieve my Guy Fawkes look. It's admittedly very dark, and lacking details but I think it serves well as a little bit of fun.

I began my search for items on the Marketplace where I found a mask, hair and cape from three different stores. The Guy Fawkes mask I decided on is a free mesh item from The Land of Nodd. The hair is a dollarbie from Alli&Ali called "Katsuki" that I made black so it would fit nicely into my theme. Lastly I picked up the free "Slumber Cape" from Severian Writer which again needed some tweaking.

I was having a rummage through my inventory for black items, but there was nothing that really jumped out at me screaming Guy Fawkes. I wanted complete body coverage for this look so instead of throwing everything out of the closet onto the floor hunting for something I whipped up a simple black glove, jacket, pants and socks layer which did the job. I think that I'll definitely 'upgrade' those at a later date not that I'm sure when I'll have the opportunity to wear this outfit again.

So there you have it. Guy Fawkes for just one little linden dollar and he doesn't look too bad in my opinion.

For those of you enjoying the bonfires and fireworks tonight stay safe and warm!

Until next time,

Baffled Kitties - Time to Play

I was checking out the events posted on the Seraphim Blog a couple of days ago and saw that there is another shop due to close soon. I decided to hop over and take a look at products I could pick up at rock bottom prices. Everything at Baffle has been reduced down to just L$55 which is insanely cheap when you account for the quality of the items there.

Baffled kitties bdr

As I had a look around a few things caught my eye including the skyboxes which you can test drive on the demo platform before purchase. I was amazed by the quality of them and grabbed a couple.

While I'm quite happy with my SL home I am going to get plenty of use out of these boxes. I think the one I am showing here - Le Petit Reve - will serve wonderfully as a little studio and backdrop for my blog pictures when I'm feeling lazy or don't have time to find setting.

Playing with Houses

While I was rezzing my new sky box to have a look at it I was joined by my good friend and the most adorabubble neko I ever did meet.. Elliecat!

We always have bundles of fun when we're together and today we were playing with houses. I wondered just how many sugary treats I could stick to this gingerbread house from June and Ellie was adjusting the furnishings of her Dollhouse from the same creator.

I must say a big thank you to Ellie for being such a wonderful and patient kitten. I know how hard it can be to stop in one place for any length of time but with the help of a few distractions and flowing conversation she did it for long enough for me to snap these lovely pictures.

I adore this picture of Ellie. She's soooo kyooooot!

So this isn't just a post of rambles and not a whole lot else I can reveal that the wonderful mesh cupcake monster hoodie Ellie is wearing comes from Loki. If you're interested in anything else she's wearing leave me a message and I'm sure I can find out for you.

As for me I'm wearing my Dutch Touch hoodie, jeans from AXE wear, my belt and MP3 player are from Pepper and my shoes are from JustB but they're no longer available.

I hope you've all had a fun filled weekend!

Giggletastic WetCat Hunt Prizes

Giggle giggle giggle!

When I logged in-world today there was a notice to inform WetCat Builds & Poses group members that there is a little hunt going on at the store. If you can find the 6 masks you can pick up 6 different versions of these super goofy cardboard cutout pose props.

The masks are pretty tricky to find, but as it tells you in the notecard, look closely at the advertising posters and you'll find them all eventually.

I love quirky things like this and couldn't resist the opportunity to pull silly faces!

Until next time,

The ElderGoth - Day of the Dead Party.

The ElderGoth DotD Party - Ghoulish Hostess
(Ghoulish Hostess Ruina)

Last night I received a notice with information about a Day of the Dead Party that was being thrown by The ElderGoth. I couldn't resist one last opportunity to show off a couple of the Halloween themed avatars I've accumulated over the past few weeks. The only difficulty I had was trying to decide which one to wear!

The ElderGoth DotD Party - Best in Bones
( Boney me - Best in Bones Champ!)

The first contest of the night was "Best in Bones" which made the decision much easier. I'd picked up this awesome mesh skeleton avatar from Plausible Body which was a perfect match. The free avatar comes with modify permissions which means you are able to set the transparency to whatever you fancy, add glow and/or full bright, change the colour, basically fiddle with it to make it unique to you. I really appreciate it when creators do that.

The ElderGoth DotD Party Overview.
( I had to leap up into the tree. Ghost dog Zero was trying to eat me!)

There was a wonderful party atmosphere created by every one in attendance. The DJ's were spinning some great tunes; some of which I hadn't heard for ages and plenty of which I found myself singing along to. Thank goodness for voice being optional otherwise I think I'd have scared everyone away!

I'd also like to add a quick thank you to the people providing prizes for the winners of the Best in Bones, Ghouls and Ghoulies, Creatures of the Night, Ghosts and Phantoms and Sugar Skull High contests. It was a great addition to an already marvelous evening.

Carneval Time!

There is so much to do, see and hear at the MadPea Carneval that I couldn't resist taking another trip there earlier today. Rather than mess around with my windlight settings like last time I left it set at the region default and off I went to explore some more.

MadPea Candy Shoppe

After taking a deep breath and walking though the gullet of doom the real fun begins. Right in front of you there is a merry go round that is not very merry at all. If you want to ride this you'll have to risk strangulation as you slip into your hangman's noose. I wonder how long I'd last before getting light headed. I wasn't brave enough to find out. Maybe next time.

Just beyond the not so merry go round is something that no park would be complete without. A giant Viking ship which has seats 'o plenty to swing people back and forth, higher and higher..Whee!

MadPea Carneval

Along with the bigger rides like the Spider coaster - which parts of tend to appear in every shot I take - there are smaller fair ground games waiting to be played. Many of them cost L$1 to play and give out prizes that increase in awesomeness the higher your score is.

MadPea Evil Emerging

I managed to capture the Spider cart in this shot while under the watchful eyes of this evil looking creature. I have yet to find the entrance to the Spider roller coaster so I guess that means I'll have to go back again soon, hopefully when there is less lag.

Please do be aware of your script counts if you decided to visit to help lessen the effects of the lag monster - I wonder if the fellow above is in fact the lag monster himself..hmmmm.

MadPea Mad Science

It wouldn't be a MadPea without an interactive game now would it? When you first enter the Carneval park on the right hand side there are a group of ticket vendors. One of which contains a direct landmark to a fun science based game called "Reaction"

Oh! And don't forget to pick up the very handy map HUD at the landing point before you enter the park. It has various 'points of interest' marked on it which you can click to be teleported to. This definitely makes getting around easier during laggy periods.

Happy exploring!
Until next time,
